Power steering rack still fail after Turn one pump install....

Post  Diyman25 on Mon Feb 22, 2016 12:04 am

when i first finsih my conversion, it did not take too long i had leaking rack( at that time it was pretty bad all the fluid dump out in a min or so even large smoke coming out from hood)

decide to keep the PS rack, went out to buy a porsche dealer rebuild rack, drive a year or so no problem

decide to upgrade to upgrade Turn on pump.  for instance i notice the steering is a bit heaver and when idile with brake on the car seen to idile better  mabe this is from pump is lighter to spin

long story short, about 1 week ago i notice the noise power pump sure enought  the rack is leaking again

any idea how to improve it ? install smaller restricter from turn one to reduce the pressure once again ?
or any other PS fluid  might help this

i have pretty wide wheel at front and i do a lot of lock to lock u turn on street i hope this is not reason
to kill rack
