Post  xschop on Mon Feb 15, 2016 12:23 pm

I've got an excellent condition 2-piece C5 bellhousing I just cleaned up and painted. I'm selling this with a brand new Torque tube adapter and pilot bearing adapter of your choice, either SBC/LT1 or LS pilot bearing adapter to my specs with a new roller bearing and hardware.
$515 shipped anywhere US-48 Only....

I'm very interested, but our chump car is an auto. I'm still a bit fuzzy on the swap bits for an auto, so am wondering if this would be the right set of parts to start with. If so, shoot me a PM and let's figure this out.

It can be used for an Auto 928 trans which is a very strong Mercedes trans.
You have to machine the LS auto flex-plate to accept the 928 auto coupler. A reputable machine shop can easily do that for you.
I'll throw in the 928 steel extension tube in pic at no extra charge. This is the last one Im selling, the other one is going into personal stash.

Forgot to let you know everything arrived a few days ago. Great working with you again, thanks!

I'm looking forward to getting started. Right now we're working through the pre-approval process with one racing series. If that goes south we will probably end up racing the car in a different series. If that doesn't work, there is even a plan C. I will start a proper build thread once we get moving.

That auto trans is tough, much tougher than the 5 speed.
I didn't send a pilot bearing because you won't need one for the Auto FYI.
