HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Sparco EVO III fitment

Sparco EVO III fitment

So I recently purchased a pair of "new" (installed once by a tuner whose client changed their mind) Sparco Evo III seats for $900 shipped. The deal was so good I just went ahead and got them. Through my research, however, I couldn't get a clear idea of if these actually fit in the 944 or not. The closest answer I found was that with Brey-Krause side mounts and Sparco sliders, they would fit.

Anyone know if this is true, or should I be looking to flip these?

I've never tried those. I've had Cobra Suzuka GT's, Sparco Evo 2+'s and currently Recaro SPG XL's, all with recaro sliders and Recaro side plates.

I have OMP seats in mine but used Sparco sliders and side plates to mount them. A bit of mix 'n match, had to drill a couple holes, but it worked and is solid. I also have a set of Recaro SRD bottom-mount, tilting seats with Recaro sliders that are a much cleaner direct fit.

The SRDs are way more comfortable than the fixed-back OMPs. But they do give up some chassis feel and probably aren't as safe in a wreck.
