HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I'm tapping out...

Post  Bluemach1 on Thu Jan 15, 2015 6:41 pm

Well guys, after collecting everything I need for a build, I have run out of the desire to see the project through. I have a lot of very nice stuff that I will be putting up for sale. I seriously have everything. If you are building outside of California, it is a slam dunk. If you are going to build in California, good luck. For me, it's just too much of a pain in the ass and that is where I stopped. In CA you will need to modify the cast iron exhaust manifolds (I have them unmodified), modify the steering shaft (I have the parts), you will need a modified drivers side motor mount upright (I have it), smog pump (I have it), charcoal canister (I have it). And some other stuff.. Then you get to deal with the bureaucracy.

Anyway, look for some posts in the For Sale section soon. Like I said, I have some really, really nice stuff...

I do still have this and I am still planning on unloading. I just haven't made time do go through everything.
Here are some examples:
A killer interior that was redone by Classic9 leather shop.
A complete engine with brand new heads, valve train and cam.
Ported and polished throttle bodies.
Roll bar and rear seat delete.
A blaupunkt radio that I sent to midwest electronics for full refurb (actually took two radios to build the one good one).
A refreshed cluster that I had sent to North Hollywood (iirc NHSpeedometer).
A three core full aluminum radiator.
Clutch and flywheel
Master cylinders
Customer wire harness from SSP that includes the ECM
BNIB big blacks
A very nice used OEM carpet set

I still have the 1986 Turbo shell that has a 5R transaxle. The body is very straight.

and tons of other stuff.

I would really like to sell this as one big lot.

Don't think you'll be able to sell the lot in one fell swoop. But I'm interested in the Big Blacks (and perhaps the spindles/uprights as well?) and the master cylinders.

Can you detail what master cylinders you have? I'm assuming this was going to be for a DMC setup?

Hey guys,
I am sorry that I haven't got back to anyone directly. As you will see, this was originally posted in January 2015 and was in the LS1 forum. Someone posted a reply this month and somehow this was moved to the "for sell" forum.

I dont have any of this pulled out and I havent got any of it priced. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I would really like to offload the whole thing in one shot. But even with that I need to do a full inventory.

Hang tight if you can. It will be sometime after Christmas when I have everything accounted for and ready to sell.

Thanks.
