The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

968 brake line ID

Post  Jim7 on Fri Apr 18, 2014 8:27 am

HELP  !  The car is a 93 - 968 ABS car.  I got an electric boost Brake ABS setup and my problem is I don't know which of the cars lines are front or rear. One line is to the left of the OE master and the other to the right of it, both coming through the firewall.  I searched everywhere on-line and the only thing I can find is that they are in fact brake lines, duh.  Thanks in advance.

What is needed is to see the ABS pump's input and output ports.

Can anyone post them?

From that link I found this:

The ABS pump is behind the right front wheel and it looks like you'll need to trace out the hard lines from 1 (to mc front axle port) and 2 (to mc rear axle port).

btw...4 shows the bias valve...I'm guessing the 968 has one.

I think the 968's windshield washer tank is also in the same void behind and above the right front wheel.
