throttle cable hook up?

Post  murrayg on Sun Apr 06, 2014 8:05 pm

Hi all,
I've got a TPC Stainless Steel Braided throttle cable 36" does this hook up to an LS1?? It looks like you need a swagged end on the cable to sit in the slot of the throttle shaft? How does this cable install??

Seems like all the questions are coming after the engine is in. Big day today......I closed the hood!

You can get the ends from Summit for a few $.  Uses a set screw to hold the cable and mimics the crimped barrel end.

Search for cable ends...
