The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

87 924s - 5.3 conversion

Post  atupaczewski on Thu Jan 30, 2014 10:32 am

Just started a 924s to 5.3 conversion last week. Taking a lot of photos and planning on posting them here to help anyone for reference and/or to see how we removed engine trans assy.

Dont know if I did this right. Sorry if i screwed up. Removing the engine had to be one of the easiest I have ever done. If you have access to a lift, and have some mechanical background, it shouldnt take you more than three hours to remove. Taking the motor out the bottom was insanely easy!

And now it is in the right category, either it was moved, or I had a brain fart, either way, welcome, and looks like a great project! Smile
