HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

M030 brakes on EARLY NA
I have never seen M030 adapters for the NA' early or NA late cars and I'm doing a set for someone so will have them available. No centering rings needed as the factory 304x32x77 (12") rotor with setscrews is used....

Re: M030 brakes on EARLY NA
Anybody know if any of the Late NA cars had ABS?
EDIT: I guess google images answered my question. The NA and S spindles with ABS had their sensor locations different than the 951 spindles..... So i don't have to cut an arc in the area like 951 adapters.
I did clearance the adapters for the factory hex-head bolt and socket to fit.....

I have 2 sets of these NA/M030 adapters left. $160/set shipped US-48
If you have a set of my billet Early NA/951 hubs, these are 100% bolt-on.

Nice Rob. And if anyone is going this route...
I have a set of M030 calipers with rotors and a couple sets of pads. Rotors are quite worn and the calipers could use a rebuild. $400 + shipping.

What's required to use these if one doesn't have your billet hubs on an early car? Do you just need late hubs?

Re: M030 brakes on EARLY NA
Late NA hubs/spindles bolt right up. You get an extra 3mm wheel clearance per side as well since the M030 hubs have the extra 3mm hub height....No more expensive hubs /spindles to track down or replace if bearing lands get worn either. To put them on an early car (pre '87) you can either put on a late suspension or simply mod your early strut.

Interested but I'm new to this forum and don't qualify for PMs yet. Could you attempt to PM me?
Thanx

Re: M030 brakes on EARLY NA
I am working on the details to put the M030 calipers on an EARLY NA car without needing custom billet hubs. I purchased an off-the-shelf Coleman rotor hat and 2-piece rotor to do the mock-up. They are Bigger and Lighter than M030 rotors at 309 x 32mm and 13.5 lbs.....

Re: M030 brakes on EARLY NA
Instead of machining a whole new adapter, I added 3mm spacers between adapter and caliper to make up for the Coleman rotor diameter difference.... The axial dimension stays the same...Works perfect, no more changing suspension, hubs/spindles....Win Win.

I have a complete 2-piece rotor and adapter setup for the early cars for sale. Rotors are new and all mounting hardware included. You'll just need a set of M030 calipers. PM with details.

Are these for early Turbo spindles and hubs or NA spildles and hubs?

Re: M030 brakes on EARLY NA
Early NA. To mount these on an 86 Turbo, you would simply install a set of early NA hubs/spindles as well. They are stronger than the 86T parts anyways.
