When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

PPI for an already swapped car Empty PPI for an already swapped car

In the past I have had a PPI done on cars that I couldn't actually see before traveling to buy. Can a PPI be done a converted car? What should be looked at? I want to make sure it was at least done correctly, and everything works. I'm also curious on the body it self.

Any tips or knowledge I may need before buying a V8 Swapped 944.

I have experience with 944 turbos, and NA.

1. Go through this site and digest the information that has been posted. You won't know what to look for until you understand everything that needs to be changed/fabricated for the swap.

2. Forget about getting a PPI unless you know someone in the area that is familiar with these swaps. In general, if the car has been on the road for 15k and everything works, consider it "sorted". Any issues it may have will show up very quickly on the test drive.

3. Listen to the advice that has already been given to you in your previous thread.
