HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Shipped USPS Priority International...

No tracking number for International shipments through the United States Post Office. This was shipped the least expensive way possible, and two 25 lb. boxes cost $190.20 to ship to France. I cannot control shipping rates, and shipping has increased since I originally quoted shipping to you. The clutch and flywheel had to be shipped separately due to size limitations of the box required to include all parts in one box.

I did not expect shipping rates to increase, but they did. Blame me for your delays if you wish, but you should have your clutch, T/O bearing, flywheel, and hydraulic lines in a day or two - unless customs delays them. The simple truth of the matter is shipping to France is more costly than I had expected, and I have relayed this information to you.

If this is such a huge problem, I will only ship to the continental United States from here forward. I will not argue over international shipping rates, nor problems with European fights being delayed. It is not worth going in debt for shipping charges, simple as that.

I blamed you just because when i ask you for a price or an order you answer me directly, it's very fast!
but when the order is making and you have money it's impossible to join you. You don't answer to mails; no informations! it's just that i don't understand.
And more I don't understand why the first order was sending one weeks ago and the other parts after???

I will explain once again, for you and everyone else...

These parts, particularly the oil pans, are modified by someone that I pay to perform the modifications. I contract all parts manufacturing to outside sources, and delays for parts production are based on their schedule, not mine. Others have waited patiently for their parts, and their orders have been filled. Shipping charges to Europe and other international locations has increased, and I have no control over shipping charges.

The oil pan was delayed due to outside vendor availability for modification. If all parts were complete at the time the clutch and flywheel shipped, and shipping had not increased for international shipments, it would not have been an issue. If you still want the oil pan, there are additional shipping charges, and it can be shipped tomorrow. If not, I will issue a refund for the oil pan, and you can have one modified yourself.

As far as answering emails...

I HAVE answered you, through email AND PMs, and I cannot sit in front of this computer 24 hours a day answering emails immediately after they are sent. I do not understand your impatience, especially after you have recognized the delays in shipping to Europe. I do not wish to argue over something as minute as shipping times to you, as you have stated "2 months" waiting time. Read the website again - I'll quote it for you:

NOTE: All pricing includes shipping and handling to the lower 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii, and all International orders, please contact us before ordering for additional shipping costs. Please allow approximately 4-6 weeks for custom parts (and kit) production and shipping. Production and shipping estimates based on current suppliers inventory and production capacity.

This is under normal circumstances. The Iceland Volcano is not a normal circumstance, nor are your demands for an immediate email answer. An additional two weeks is not extreme, considering the events I have no control of. Decide what you want - an oil pan, or a refund. I do not care either way. This is my last response to this insanity.

Joe,

My apologies for the misunderstanding. I will return payment for the oil pan, minus the difference in shipping charges. Thank you for your business, and good luck with your conversion.

I have refunded the discounted price of the Moroso Oil Pan, minus the difference in shipping charges of $62.50. The SPEC clutch and flywheel, C5 Slave assembly, and hydraulic hoses are in process of shipping, and the clutch and flywheel are non-refundable per SPEC, Inc.

All future International shipments will be quoted shipping at the time of shipment, to avoid any future discrepancies.

You lighten up.
The context of your post was an attack, plain and simple.

This is not a free-for-all political attack, and that was unnecessary. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it doesn't need to be turned into a circus side-show of overly generalized assumptions based on nationality, race, religion or otherwise.

I personally have no basis for such an attack, and neither should you. I offered a reasonable solution to an issue Jonathan had with his shipment, and truly regret this happened at all. My apologies again to Joe for the delays and shipping issues. Hopefully I have not offended an entire nation the way your attack has, and I am definitely willing to work through any other issues with sales, shipping, or even forum-related issues with anyone - regardless of origin or opinion.

Joe,
Once again, you are welcome here, and I will do what I can to make sure there are no future misunderstandings. Hopefully you will accept my attempt for a reasonable solution.

vundba,
Cool it.
