After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Cruise control question

Post  jonb944 on Fri Nov 01, 2013 8:24 pm

I recently completed the build on my 86 turbo and was wondering if the cruise control should still work after the swap. I have it hooked up and it will accelerate, but it doesn't hold speed. I have checked the brake switch and clutch switch and they seem to be working. I was wondering if there was something I was missing.

The cruise control is a stand alone system. It reads the speed from the Speedo at the gauge, from there it is processed through the cruise control module. If there is a problem it's either the module or the servo under the hood. It might be a bad switch but I would not think so.....
