HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Metric hard line to JIC/AN fittings
In case anybody is having trouble finding parts to adapt the original fuel lines to AN, I found a source for compression fittings for metric tube to JIC/AN. They're at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and run a bit under $10 with all the parts. I used the light fittings since it's for a pretty low-pressure system. There's a minimum $20 order, so I bumped it up with extra cutting rings.

That site is a great resource, I got my fuel line adapters from there, as well as a lot of the A/C fittings and hose I used. I believe Marc A was the one who told me about that site or posted it on the old board, glad you posted about it!

Now thats a good deal I just spent $55 from lindsey racing for one set.

We were trying to use a flare fitting on the lines, but the steel just didn't want to flare without cracking. I knew I didn't want to pay that much from Lindsey for them, so I was glad I found these folks.gdopnt wrote:Now thats a good deal I just spent $55 from lindsey racing for one set.
