Recharge AC
I have replaced just about everything in my 87 944 for the A/C. Now I need to charge it. There is a placard that says 30.5 OZ of R12 required. I have seen elsewhere that one should use 80% the R12 qty when using R134A. Is this true.
As far as injecting oil into the system. How much is needed. I know a compressor I bought came with 8 Oz in the compressor. The compressor I have in the car has no oil in it. The entire system has been purged. So I need to know the correct amount of oil for a dry system.
Thanks for any help.
