For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Motor Mounts
Got a few sets of the motor mounts done and making more. DOM steel is used with 1.0” I.D. and 1.5” O.D. with solid ¼” wall design. The upper perches are 1.O” machined with 0.5” isolator bolt-thru holes and chamfered for precision fit and strength. The base plate is machined from 3” solid steel round and finishes at ¼” thick also. The uprights are Ball-milled on the CNC for the upper perch insets and the lower portion is then set up on a Bridgeport mill using angle gauges to get the 2 exact angles needed before mating to the base-plate. Then it is angle-drilled for the replaceable ½” mount bolt that’s included with the lockwashers and matching nuts. PM me for details
*****NOTE******
These mount directly to the SBC/LT rubber engine isolators and for LS/4.8/5.3/6.0/6.2 engines require inexpensive Engine Set-Back Plates that Carshop.INC sells (no affiliation)
Here's what I made for my 5.3l....

After welding, everything is double checked for accuracy….No SMS used here....

Set-Back plates
these will work nicely and give plenty of front oil sump to rear x-member clearance on the Moroso 20140.
With the plate dimensions I used on mine, I have 1.75" clearance. With these you should still have 1" at the X-member and about the same between driver's head and the firewall.

Re: Motor Mounts
If you slot the isolator holes to set the engine back some. But it is better (easier) just to buy the set-back plates because you need the X-member to Oil pan clearance. BTW, I've got your Moroso pan at the Tig welder being finished up.
