968 rear glass
Has anyone installed the rear glass with the wing from the 968 on the 944?
Or can just the wing be installed on the 944 rear glass?

Have not but I've read that they are compatible.

Re: 968 rear glass
Do you think it would be as simple as replacing the trim around the rear glass and installing the wing?
Re: 968 rear glass
All three pieces, stock 968, will bolt right up to the 944 glass....IIRC

Bolts in the same holes as the original rubber spoiler. I don't have it installed yet, but will try to get a pic of it. Main difference is no 3rd brake light, but that is taken care of already in the stock setup.

FYI -
I found this write up regarding transplating a 968 spoiler onto a 944.
Rennlist Discussion Forums > Water Cooled Technical Discussion Areas > 924/931/944/951/968 Forum
TOPIC: 968 spoiler transplant on 944 : Work in progress
BTW - I think that the 968 spoiler looks very very cool but does it offer any functional property?

Re: 968 rear glass
While searching one of the forums, rennlist or pelican, I found a thread that showed a 968 wing that was made to adjust in the center section with a little more rear lip. I will see if I can find it again.

Rear Wing
The rear spoiler referred to above is the 968 Turbo S wing. OEM is VERY pricey if you can find one. Several vendors out there making FG and CF replicas.
