Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

95 LT1 350 into 89 944 turbo. What hoses do you use to connect the radiator to the engine? I have the RH custom radiator.
Thanx

Ask RH, did they not give you any recommendations?

Hi
Thanks for quick reply. They did send some instructions to cover the whole installation but nothing specific about hoses. I did get the kit in 2004 though.
I thought that someone on the forum might have been through the process and would know which hoses fitted best.
I’ll contact them as you suggest.

Thanx

Or do what most of us have done, including those of us with RH kits from way back, measure and head down to the local parts store and find a match. Very Happy

Hoses

Post  fliermike45 on Mon Jul 01, 2013 8:46 pm

Make some full scale sketches to take to the parts store.

This is also what I did, I have swapped three different cars and find it hard to actually find a perfect hose. I use two pieces per hose and join them with either a filler/bleed plug or a drain cock. Both from Jegs.

The drain cock was useful today as I had to change out my leaking plastic heater valve for a metal one.

Pictures tell the story.
