The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

Radiator overflow tank
Does anyone have any ideas for a replacement overflow tank? My stock Porsche tank won't fit with the LS3. Thanks.

What causes it not to fit?
LT-1, what did you do for the tank, you have a LS3 right?

Sure it will. What are you doing that makes it not fit?

You can switch to the f-body accessory drive layout, otherwise put in any universal overflow tank (Moroso are among many who make them).

Yup, switching to the F body accessory brackets will take care of that interference...

Crapy picture but you can see the expansion tank right behind the engine and center.

Great idea with the tank behind the engine. Thanks. Also, I've never seen that type of air filter before. Looks like it would be very effective with that shape and placement. Thanks again.

The part number for the filter is RP-5135. Its K&N and usually comes as a kit for the c6 corvette but they sell just the filter separatley. They claim ~18hp but I cant confirm.
