After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

That sounds like a lot of spacing on the cross member...... Shocked Not sure you will ever be able to get the steering correct again!
While go through all the trouble, just modify the oil pan, way easier. and won't look so dis proportional .

ROB, it is the l33 5.3. which is an aluminum block 5.3 with flat top pistons, 243 vette heads, and it has a ls2/ls6 cam already with springs and valves to match. should make a reliable 350hp at the rear wheels and be fun and spirited to boot.

i got some very nice parts today. thank you rob. i have decided against the audi 5th gear. i will just either install a vette 6spd with torque tube and all or convert to g50/968/6spd with g5052 965 turbo gear sets.

also going to build my own pan from a truck stock oem aluminum pan. will cut it up and use 7075 1/4" plate and reshape and tig it back together. also will delete the need for a filter relocation setup.

for weight reduction i have manual sport seats from a 78 911, manual 968 aero mirrors, converting to manual locks and windows and taking out necessary hardware. taking out all non essential parts/hardware/sound deadening. am going the rs america type route with the car. minimalistic but nice. will have ps, pb, ac, and a radio but thats it.
