HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.
Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin
For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

FS: Sparco Evo2 seats, NT01's and LS parts
Have an almost new pair of Sparco Evo 2 seats with side mounts. They're too short for me, my loss is your gain.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
$1200 for the pair
LS6 intake manifold and stock ported throttle body
$350
S&P headers for an LS1 swapped Porsche 944 with cat pipes and test pipes.
$600
4 Nitto NT01 tires, lightly used, plenty of life left in them. Size is 275-40-17
$350
Buyer pays actual shipping charges and paypal fees.

Seats
"Too short"....can you explain that please, I'm 5'10" will they work for me?
Side mounts? Do they bolt to stock floor holes? Picture?
Are they practical for a daily driver or more suited for track use?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: FS: Sparco Evo2 seats, NT01's and LS parts
I have a very long torso and the shoulder harness holes on this seat are too low for me unless I remove the butt cushion.
This shouldn't be a problem for most people 6'1" and under and obviously won't be an issue at all on the street.
I have driven the car 400 miles in these seats without fatigue, so they are comfortable for daily use.
They don't bolt straight into the factory mounts, you'll want to also buy a set of sliders. The sliders will bolt straight into the factory floor mounts and the side mounts will bolt to the sliders and the seats then bolt to the side plates.
The car is currently in the shop, but the seats are only a few months old, they're in new shape and look exactly like the ones in the link.

Re: FS: Sparco Evo2 seats, NT01's and LS parts
Doc,
These are the wider version of the Evo correct? Sorry if this is getting too personal but what is your waist size and do they fit you just right or snug? There's no place to test out seats before you buy so I have to ask.
Will you sell the ported throttle body separate from the intake?
Any pics of the remaining tread on the NT-01s? How many heat cycles or track days do they have?

Re: FS: Sparco Evo2 seats, NT01's and LS parts
Rooster, they are the wider version evo's. I weigh around 195 lbs and have a 35" waist or so. Width wise they fit me well, I just don't fit in them shoulder harness hole wise. I'll take pics of the nt01's tonite and post them. They have tons of tread left on them. These tires tend to get better the more they're worn. I've used them maybe 3 hpde weekends so far. I'd prefer to sell the throttle body with the intake, but if someone just wants the intake then I'll split them.

Might be interested in a package price for the headers, intake and throttle body.
Is the throttle body cable or DBW?
Also PM'd you. Thanks, CB
