The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

Re: Where to source a new wiring harness?
When I did mine, there wasn't a single wire I didn't have to adjust for length, so I wouldn't have been any better off getting a new harness. My application probably doesn't have as many wires as yours will, but I'd take the time to take a look at what you have and what you need before just laying out cash for a new harness.

I used a Painless harness and was very happy with it. The book that came with it was very detailed and helped me a bunch as wiring was the scariest part of the conversion for me. The only wires I had to extend were to the VSS.

Re: Where to source a new wiring harness?
I've bought a few painless relay setups, that I was very happy with, that are in my project car. For my harness, I did what Spence said, spent a few hours stripping out all the GTO body module pieces, mine was a standard tranny setup, so a few sensor wires needed to be removed as well. It works, and was not hard to do. If I didn't have the harness to modify, or the patience and skill to, I go with the full Painless harness.
