HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.
Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin
For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

ffmedic - I did mean to sell it to you. I never got it out of the tool shed however (funny almost no tools inside as you can see). I rareley get time to do any actual work on my conversion let alone anyother thing. time passed and you did not bring any comment so i though you lost interest and i was too ashamed to say anything.
I am sincerily ashamed
for the last 6 months golfduke has been meaning to pick it up, but he lives in NH and hasnt made the "family" trip to NYC so far. so the bumper remains pretty much in the same place its been for the last year.
Ive been meaning to send these skirts to Eric for the last 4 weeks (i know im lazy and a flake) but by the time i get home neither fedex nor UPs want to stay open.
I could tell you that I have this weird feeling you'll see more of these skirts soon around here

Re: WTB Side skirts
Just a tiny bit of info for those interested in widebody fenders....The side skirts sold by gt-racing, AIR, and such will not fit with wide body fenders without reforming them or adding to the width of the threshold. I had to completely re-work mine to fit. I THOUGHT or assumed that when I bought the rocker panels from GTR that they would fit and that even though the fenders are (from GTR as well) 2" wider that they met at the bottom of the car in the same fashion as the stock fender. Wrong. Widebody fenders have a larger lip where the wheel wells are by 2 inches. So, just to let yall know.

Re: WTB Side skirts
did yours also come with a screw sticking out in the inside of the skirt? the skit had what appears to be a matching hole (big enough for a socket wrench) on the opposite side of the skirt.????

Nope. Just a u shaped channel of fiberglass. I had to cut off the front part and fiberglass it back together in a way that they would fit my fenders.
Now my threshold, when I open the door, is like a foot wide. Pretty cool looking!

I guess so. Although I would NEVER step on it and my passengers better not either.
I need a decal from a hummer that says " NO STEP"

I dunno. I really like the template rattle can version. Battleship gray would look good.

It's all good in the end np , and yes I did send a reply you never got back after the second time I sent it . Also check with UPS and FED EX you can have them come to your house to pick up the item you need shipped ( am pretty sure they both do that) . So get off your lazy arse and ship those rockers to whoever you sold them .
P.S. I am just giving ya a hard time and JK with ya

Re: WTB Side skirts
Check out allporscheracing.com. I have purchased parts from GT-Racing (hatch), and was not impressed with the quality. I just purchased the widebody kit, front spoiler and 944 Carerra Header panel and am very pleased with the quality. IFC has rocker panels that look really nice. Mike, the owner, is very helpful and will work to help in mounting the parts (unlike gt-racing.com).

Re: WTB Side skirts
Let me know how well those fit. I spoke to Mike just the other day. I seen them on E*** jsut the other day. Can you post a write up on the install. And let us know if it is a PITA!
Re: WTB Side skirts
Will do - this is not going to be your typical 'bolt on' kit. The good thing about this kit is that
it comes with tubs, so you're not flinging mud and stuff all up between the fiberglass and original bodywork.
