HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.
Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin
For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

NA and 86 Turbo Billet Hubs
I guess this is the best place to post this. I am doing a small run of ONLY 4 sets of billet hubs for the NA and 86T cars that bolt the rotor over the hub just like the 87-up hubs/cars do. Any Big Brake kit will now fit the Early NA cars. They are about 5-6 times as strong as the factory cast hubs and will come with brand new bearings and seals installed. You'll need to press in your old studs or get longer ones if you choose. I'm doing a relief cut to lighten then another 200 grams, so they'll be close to stock weight as well......$575 shipped/pr anywhere in the US-48..... Just PM

Re: NA and 86 Turbo Billet Hubs
I have 1 last set of these left. Just waiting on new bearings and seals to arrive. Im not sure I'll build any more of these this year. A few of the hybriders have these but I have not seen install pics. If you have them post em up. Any Big Brake kit/adapters I've done bolt right up to the early spindles when these are used.

Re: NA and 86 Turbo Billet Hubs
What sort of weight do I reduce by putting these on my car? I presume you are out and I would have to wait until next year, correct?
BTW - you are phenomenal!

Ohh gosh, I just re-read the text and now see the weight note :-) Sorry, too excited geeking out to car stuff as of late
Re: NA and 86 Turbo Billet Hubs
Jon, I sent out your Audi calipers and NA adapters with centering rings. Those will also work with these billet hubs and early NA spindles/suspension. If you want to wait another week, I have a spare set that I still need to router out the outer profile as the bearing lands have already been turned on CNC.

If Rob has none...I'll sell you the pair I bought at the same price from him several months ago.
New in box. (I went in another direction.)

Better snatch those up. I made a 2nd run and they are all gone. I don't plan on making any more unless someone wants to buy me a good used mazak turn station.

I can testify that everything xcshop creates is nothing less then the best!
Re: NA and 86 Turbo Billet Hubs
I agree, his machine skills are top notch. I'm trying to get late hubs on a 86 spindle, I think I'm gonna research a little more before I get the hubs
