For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

It's an entertaining track, good elevation changes and lots of different corners. I tend to be cautious on those two turns (#4,5) after the back straight, there isn't much run off room there and if you blow 5 you get to go flying off down the hill till you hit the concrete barrier.
No thanks!

wow great video, great car
as daunting as a task it may seem to do a conversion like this to a novice mechanic like me; videos like yours remind me of exactly why i am going to just pull up my sleeves lose some knuckles and just get er figured one way or another.
your car has a great sound to it when the rpm's are high, i had a good laugh when you passed the corvette. i just find those parts of 944 ls1 videos super funny.
nice scenery at that track too, nice open blue sky. denver area right? was thinking of moving there once, from reading your other posts it sounds like the emissions regs are a real PITA though!
again great video!

Thanks! The Kooks long tubes really made a big difference in the exhaust note.
That vette is pretty fast, it's a C6 Z06, so he's making more power than me and is running hoosiers. Most sessions I put up better lap times than him, but every once in a while he puts it all together.
Most of my emissions difficulties centered around my stubborness of getting the car past the inspection. I didn't really need to do it, but I wanted the paperwork. Once I figured out how to force all the readiness monitors to read "set" it made it through with minimal difficulties.
