The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

ls pcv hose

Post  cfgioja on Sun May 06, 2012 2:06 pm

Hey guys, i have tracked down an issue i am having with oil consumption and realize the pcv system is hooked up wrong. I need to find a pcv crossover hose the goes from the back driver to back passenger valve cover and y's to the tb.

Anyone know where i can get one?

Talk to Xschop, he uses a PCV with a smaller orifice and routed as you mentioned, I think the info is in a thread somewhere here. I use his setup and things seem OK.

I bought a used one off EBay but the rubber bits were dry rotted to the point that they weren't useable. So I bought a new one from The trick for me was to get the 99+ one so it fit the passenger valve cover correctly. The 97-98 style I got the first time didn't fit.

I also installed a catch can and am finding I lose quite a bit of oil through the breather. Your other option would be to do the LS6 valley cover and PCV routing which should cut down on that loss.
