Post  aussiebj on Wed Apr 18, 2012 7:25 am

G,day quick intro I have ben looking at this site on an off for quite awhile when I had my 88 944 turbo .. but did not bite the bullet for the coversion and after spending well ove 12k on my engine I should have.. but alas i sold the turbo car .. and I have now been bitten again as I love these cars so...onto the question at hand I know you guys can help me out..I am picking up an early 944 track car and I want to go with the V8 conversion and i already have an aluminium headded LT1 but where is the best place to get the LT1 conversion parts from in everones opinion and experience..Looking for a place that has good customer service also..
If I am in the wrong section can this question be moved to the right section....
Thank you Barry

Sanderson makes some that fit... You'll need two different headers from Sanderson. Do a search on this site for the model numbers; they're on here somewhere. Or ask Eric (Admin) at TPC.

I used the Pacesetter headers for a 1995 corvette. You need the cut about 1" off the collectors, but the primaries are larger than the sanderson headers.
