When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

LS1 flywheel + pressure plate
I see that a lot of people are running the spec clutch package, is there any reason not to use the stock LS1 flywheel and PP that came with my GTO motor? I have the 2pc bell housing and Eric's conversion clutch disc. It looks like the flywheel fits inside the BH, but I have some bluish marks on the flywheel and PP.

Re: LS1 flywheel + pressure plate
If it fits inside the BH and the starter you plan to use mesh's with the flywheel correctly, then yeah, use it. I would take it in and they will do the routine: Check trueness, check for any cracks, turn the flywheel, check the PP springs and action, turn it as well and then balance the assembly (take the disc in with the assembly just in case).

You might want to do some reading else where on the net, I was under the impression that you could not turn stock LS flywheels do to the metal they are made of being to porous. AS far as the pressure plate. I personally would replace it with those hot spots.

There is some discussion of not resurfacing flywheels here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
There are threads on LS1tech.com for and against turning the flywheel. It didn't seem to be an issue if only a minimum of surface was taken and you measured for the need to shim afterwards.

Yeah, looks like I am out of luck. Guess I'll be adding another $500 to the budget for new flywheel and PP.
