When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

LT1 swap 924 Turbo

Post  jkfcustom on Mon Jan 16, 2012 9:38 pm

Hello all new to sight...I am working on a 1981 924 Turbo.Have a 1993 LT1 mild build already installed and wired.Did make a few pulls in parking lot only to find out clutch let go...not enough depth in pilot bushing ouch.So instead of going down that same road I decided to fab a 4 link or ladder bar solid axle rear and run trans @ motor and do some tunnel work.Car will be mostly street driven with some 1/4 mile time.I really appreciate this site and all the helpfull info. Thanks ...if anyone has done this any insight would be greatly appreciated

My personal car has an LT with a T56 and a Camaro rear end. I am in the process of fitting twin turbos on it, but work load has slowed things down a bit.
My picture gallery is not current ,but there are pictures in my build thread and on my website.
Welcome aboard!

getting trans

Post  jkfcustom on Sat Jan 28, 2012 10:18 am

Well going to look to get two 4 speed saginaws today...gonna stay with what I know used them in circle track for a long time and they work well with little trouble.Plus I think it will be easier to fit.Still figuring what to do at rear...I know a solid axle is going in deciding on four link setup or ladder bar. Also have plans to tie frame to front for some more rigidity.I will be selling the turbo trans and axles and probably rear suspension ect. if any interest. Thanks for the welcome will keep posted on how things are going and try to post some pics as I go.Have a good day all.
