HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Hey everyone...wanted to say hello! Looking forward to the content build on this site.

Working on a LS1/944S. Have all the RH parts. P motor is out and now I just need to start putting it all together. Live in AZ and it is so hot here right now that 10 minutes out in the garage and I am sweating so bad that my eyes burn from the salt! Soon as we get a slight cool off (90s) I will try to be more diligent.

Quick question...any tips and tricks to bleeding the clutch? I have a power bleeder and can't seem to get a steady flow of fluid. Not to mention the end on the bell housing is not like what is on the brake calipers. What am I missing here? Can I set the bell houseing on the ground and expect the air bubbles to work their way back to the master cyclinder res ? Is there a better adapter?

Thanks!

Welcome,
I know there are some remote bleeder line available, The car that I have in the garage right now has one on it. It's a customer's car and he already had it when I got the car. So I don't know where he got it, He's out of town so I can't ask him where it came from. Maybe he'll chime in. I used a power bleeder and it just took about a minute to bleed perfectly.

Also, remove the clutch pedal spring to eliminate future problems.
