The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Volvo 240 Front Calipers

Post  bordin34 on Wed Nov 16, 2011 8:34 pm

I saw in another post that the front calipers from a Volvo 240 should bolt up to the N/A spindle. I was wondering if anybody has done this and if it actually worked. Is it actually a better caliper than the stock N/A one?

Volvo 240 Front Calipers

Is there any experience with that swap ? I wonder if i found the correct caliper (Volvo numbers 12283453, 1273430, 127343307, 1330306, 5002028) as they are for rotor thickness of 22mm. The original N/A rotor reads 20,5mm.
Does this match anyway ?
Is there any spacing required to fit to the middel of the rotor ?
