The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

XSchop's 928S Big Brake Kit

Post  xschop on Mon Oct 24, 2011 12:48 pm

I'll have these adapters ready here in the next week for $219 shipped to any Us-48. Will include centering rings that mount 13" cayenne rotors and adapters for Wilwood superlites. 100% Bolt-on. As you may know the 928S is the most difficult/expensive 928 to put bigger brakes on because until now you hade to change out the front suspension to get early spindles on, then add expensive Porsche calipers and rotors.....And if that wasn't enough, then your ABS doesn't work because the tone-rings changed!
Not any more. The entire kit/parts needed will run roughly $750 with new Wilwood calipers/pads and 13" 955 cayenne rotors.

And if you have ABS, I redesigned them to clear the sensor....

Hi - how can i get hold of a 928S 1980 brake upgrade kit please. The only problem is i'm in Melbourne Australia so i'm thinking weight for shipping could be a problem? Is there an option of the special bits and maybe i could get the discs back here?

You need an American cousin or bro-in-law. If you can get the Cayenne 330mm rotors there I'll brave the paperwork and ship a set to Austraylya. I can't insure them or track them USPS International and that's the problem.

Thanks. Do you have a website by the way? How much would the entire kit cost including shipping and the rotors please? My only issue is that we have a $1000 total limit here otherwise we get slugged big time on import tax....i got caught before on that one. Thanks Trevor

I'm only selling the billet adapters and centering rings. I checked USPS, so USPS International would run $231 for a set.

For the factory M.C. you should use Wilwood Superlite 1.62" piston calipers and 1.25" rotor width........Part #120-11133 x 2ea

and #150-8854K (street pads)

A few 928 guys are running them and you can check out the upgrade here....
