When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I saw pictures somewhere that someone made a brace to shore up the tranmission from all the movement the crappy late mounts allow. Anyone have any clue, or have seen this?

You mean xchop's? There's got to be a pic somewhere on here that you can find. Saw your ad on CL here in LA today. The last V8 944 sold down here was listed at 14K, iirc.

Xschop's mount in place.

It was installed wrongly in this pic and I had to turn it around.

Thats the mount, somoeone made a brace that attaches to the side of the tranny keeping it from swaying side to side.

I have that side brace. Since I didn't install it, I don't know where it came from. I like the look of xchop's a whole lot better...

The long solid rod brace transmits tranny gear noises/vibes and the trans can still rotate with the factory rubber mount installed anyways unless you're running solid or poly motor mounts.
