For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Header problem.
I have a pair of Hooker headers and my welder has messed up the driver side modification.
Can anyone fix the problem and re-do the modification for me?
Regret I can't run to a grand for other brands of header, but is there a Sanderson set that fits the LS1 without modification?
Looking for the most cost effective (cheap) solution.

Re: Header problem.
Even with the modification on the driver's side they still don't fit, as per a Black Forest Racing. They bought the ones from modenas, I believe I may be wrong on the place purchased , and they had to be modded to fit again......
No Sanderson does not have a direct fit.
Nobody has anything that does not need modification, except me

Re: Header problem.
I've got 4000 miles on mine now. Not a leak or crack either (Gas/Tig). I saw pics of Modenas' modded 2312's and the #1 primary needed to be tucked tighter to the #7 primary. They even cleared my Dual MC's. #7 spark plug is a bitch to get to. I just recently put double wrap of 3/4" Fiberglass wire insulation on #3,5,& 7 plugs.

Re: Header problem.
I will have pictures of the finished and coated headers latter this week, These will be available on my Website store. They will be $875 , that is for 1 5/8" primaries to a 3" collector, Ceramic coating is $225 extra ,The price does not include shipping. I can install "V" band clamps for and additional $150 if you would like. PM me to get on the list, Two sets are already gone, make yours the next!
I make these to order and right now it'll be April before I could start on a set....

As Admin said
Any LSX series header needs to be modified to fit and you'll have to purchase them from him or modify them yourself.
I think this says it all... lolNobody has anything that does not need modification, except me
