I have a leak in the core of my radiator. Is there a good alternative that works instead of the $900 Ron Davis Racing radiator?

Tim, I have the Summit radiator that is around $180. I know some others have it also, and maybe they actually have a working vehicle they can give you some firsthand knowledge of how well it works.

Pretty sure this is it: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I have the Summit. You will need to do some fab work to get it to fit and the cap needs to be welded on and a access fill cap put on the driver side. No big deal. The part for the access filler cap is MOR-63730

Here are the summit dimensions and a comparison of the radiator sizes.
Brand: Summit
Product Line: Summit Aluminum Racing Radiators
Part Type: Radiators
Part Number: SUM-380645
Radiator Style: Crossflow
Overall Width (in): 23.875 in.
Overall Height (in): 16.000 in.
Overall Thickness (in): 1.750 in.
Row Quantity: Single-row
Radiator Finish: Natural
Radiator Material: Aluminum
Transmission Cooler: No
Inlet Location: Upper driver side
Inlet Size: 1 3/4 in.
Outlet Location: Lower passenger side
Outlet Size: 1 3/4 in.
Core Height (in): 16.000 in.
Core Width (in): 20.750 in.

Comparison
