Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

I've been challenged to come up with an easy Sway Bar Preload System for our cars.....
What about this idea?

Calling Suspension Gurus Empty Better Handle

Post  968gene Tue Jul 14, 2009 6:20 pm

No one makes an adjuster for the stock sway bars. As we/you think through this, keep in mind that the bar ends differ in diameter for the various sizes. OEM handles this by using rubber bushings with different ID's. There are a variety of people making a support bracket for the hanger. This is a cheap, must do upgrade to get the bars to work properly. By adding an adjuster, the pre-load can be eliminated which balances the cars ability to turn left and right equally.

Calling Suspension Gurus Empty do it

I looked over that drop-link last night and I can build an extended one from the factory link itself by making an all-thread with an inner catch step for the old bushing ring.

OR.......... A stronger Heim joint style one perhaps?
