For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

When was the last time anyone had any contact with Greg Sloan?
The last contact for me was in June when I made my last undelivered purchase. There is an undelivered PM in my outbox since 10/30.

His last post was like a week before that. Pretty sure we are all SOL, I'm sure he has no intention to refund or suplly the parts we are all owed.

If I can't get my money back, then I want some retribution. What qualifies as internet/mail/wire fraud? The amounts he has taken are criminal. I spoke with a neighbor that is retired a cop/FBI agent/criminal justice professor he thinks it qualifies as a criminal act. Greg was a stand up guy to begin with and provided good quality products.

I was under the impression that someone had already started something (Eric said above that he had been contacted by lawyers).

Someone did but that doesn't include the rest of us as far as I know. It looks like they are just getting info together for a civil suit, but I don't know any more than what was posted. I don't think we are going to see any money back. He has taken his website down completely now and is not responding to any form of communication. I think it is time to investigate criminal prosecution for theft. I know that sounds harsh but what would you call it when someone owes you a significant amount of money and disappears?

Why not work with whomever is filing whatever and see if you can all get something worked out?
Other than, i'm keeping my nose out of it.

Re: When was the last time anyone had any contact with Greg Sloan?
I would but I have no way of knowing who that is. I don't think Eric can disclose the identity of the individual seeking counsel and I have not been contacted. If there is nothing malicious, all of this could be avoided by communication with the customers.

At this point, I would have to agree. I would "invest" in acquiring legal counsel to at least recoup some of my losses and would not mind getting together with others who has had significant losses like my own.

You guys have been more than patient. Far more patient than I ever would've been. I don't care what Greg's personal life is like, if you can't deliver paid for and promised parts, you need to refund the buyer their money.
The fact that he never refunded any more AND didn't deliver parts makes it theft. He stole from you guys and that isn't right, period.
Back trouble, money trouble, whatever, he stole for you guys.

Stealing is against the law. Laws are enforced by the Police. It may be time to get them involved. What could a lawyer do to get our money back if there is no money to get?

If ever something is ruled in our favor, we are eligible for any future earnings. it will be more-so the principle than anything.

I can't see how we would not get a favorable ruling. Could one lawyer represent all of us? I know several but have never had to use one.
