After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

OnLine Porsch Manuals

Post  HHPtoy on Wed Mar 23, 2011 10:01 pm

A number of you may already have discovered this site but since I did not see any reference to it I thought I would list it here.

This site list all of the earlier model Porsche manuals, 944/911/968/986/993/996/928 and limited manuals for BMW and other makes of cars.

I looked to and I could not find any dimension measurements except for clearances.

I probably have this somewhere, I'll need to look. I have so much on one of my drives and really need to organize it. It isn't in the manuals anywhere.

Found it.

The O16/O83 has a 0.47" hypoid offset and a 3" shaft spacing. This puts the input shaft centerline 3.47" above the cv shaft centerline.

The G31 also has 3" shaft spacing but has a spiral bevel final drive so that puts the cv centerline 3" below the input shaft centerline.
