For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

First Summer Yellow LS1
Well....After 11 years of ownership of my 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo, it finally happened, a fire. After dealing with my insurance company, I bought back the car and shipped it to Eric for new life. I'm glad to say that it will be a joy to drive, easy to maintain, piss-off the aircoolers even more but it'll be the only Summer Yellow LS1!! Here are a few pictures until the transplant begins.....

Awesome!
I saw your thread on rennlist where you were debating what to do with it. I'm glad you decided to go this route (especially because it means you won't be tearing it apart!). Welcome to the dark side!
Eric will take good care of you

Re: First Summer Yellow LS1
Sounds like a good one!
One thing i never thought to ask about when i bought my motor: check to make sure it wasn't a roll-over. If the car rolled when it wrecked, the engine may have run for a few (precious) seconds with all the oil in the top of the engine and nothing going to the bearings. Worth checking into

SORRY! I'll get you some pictures this weekend to get you up to date. I've had a lot of loose ends that don't make for a very good picture. Electric brake booster FINALLY came in!

Re: First Summer Yellow LS1
I wonder, do you think its feasible to possible sell a complete exhaust from the headers back pre-done? I would think fitment should be pretty close among the swaps assuming the same crossmember combo and long tube header combo is used. I figure this may save me the trouble of figuring out how to get a conversion in progress to the exhaust shop without having to bother having it brought on a flat bed .
