For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

FS: Thunder Racing Cam and CNC ported 243 heads
So I've got a few things left over from my build that I don't need. Reason I didn't install the heads is I made the power I needed from just the cam, if I install the heads I break out of my time trials class. I'll try to get pictures up of both shortly. I haven't been on these forums much, but feel free to check out my iTrader feedback on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
The cam was in the car literally a few hundred miles before I replaced it with an EPS cam.
It's a Thunder Racing 224/224 .563/.563 cam. I'm not sure what the lsa is, although I suspect it's a 114.
New they're $389, I'd like $300 for it, plus shipping/paypal fees..
Next up are the heads. I bought these from a local racer who upgraded his engine. I took them to a local machine shop that builds cars for Bonneville. He did a complete valve job on them, replaced 5 valves, replaced all guides and seals, planed them 0.008 and generally cleaned them up.
They were CNC ported by Wegner Motorsports. They're the $2600 heads here.

There is minor damage to 2 combustion chambers, which the machine shop assured me will not impact performance. Included are dual valve springs. Due to the slight damage I have them priced commensurately.
$850 plus shipping/paypal fees.

Yep, put in the other cam and retuned and jumped 30rwhp. We're flanging the cats today and will retune again and most likely will pick up another 10rwhp.
