For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

948 Custom LS1 intake manifold blocking plate

My father owns a machine shop and made this for me when I was making my 948, however I just bought a new intake and a 968, so I am selling this. This is one of a kind. First $30.00 Takes it. If there is no interest I will put it on E-Bay with a starting bid of $1.00, I think that is the fairest way to do it. If a lot of people are using ls1 intakes and there is an interest for these I can have a bunch made up.

Any idea if he can make something like that for the throttle body of an LT and if so what would one run? I'm just looking for some options for the moment.

He would need to see the throttle body. If it is just a smooth blanking plate with a gasket the price would probably be reasonable. But something like this one took 5+ hours to make just 1. And at his normal rate of $65 per hour that is not a cheep part to make.

It cost me $50 to make mine for the LT1. Mine has the Porsche crest on it and 948 next to it.
