After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

VSS Troubleshooting Tip #1

Post  skywalker01 on Sun Dec 12, 2010 8:19 am

If you are experiencing difficulties getting a signal from the VSS sensor, you may want to adjust the bracket so the sensor is closer to the reluctor wheel. The bracket that I got from RH held the sensor about a half inch away from the wheel. Bent the bracket so the sensor is about a 16th of an inch away from the wheel and now I am getting a good VSS signal (per 87-944s [Mike's]) tuner software!

As always, it was a lot of fun messing with your car! Glad we changed the fan settings and got the VSS working. Get that bad boy on the road so we can learn how to tune it!
