When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

will an ls4 work?

Wondering if an 06 ls4 is doable? These were transverse mounted so accessories, water pump, and crank are all a bit different.

BOP bellhousing and you would have to figure a way to mount a starter as it is mounted on the trans....AKA no-one makes swap parts.

i do not believe the ls4 will work easily. The lS4 has some different bolt patterns and front bracketry that will require custom work arounds. Can it be done, yea but time and money. If you want an LS4, do the 5.3 LM7 or Aluminum version for a simpler conversion.

I have read on some other conversion boards the desire to use the Ls4 and the issues they face.

I talked with a guy I know that swaps V8's in Fieros here in OKC and the LS4 is what they are after because it fits a strong Getrag Trans.
