For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

Headlight Buckets
Have to credit where due.
Just received my headlight buckets from Eric at Texas Performance Concepts, they are very good.
I was falsely under the impression that I was going to have to get rectangular headlight mounts from a wrecking yard but Eric's buckets come with the mounts and adjusters included. I'm very pleased, thanks Eric.

I have to disappoint you a little! The metal bucket part is from the salvage yard, Although as you can see they are refurbished to meet our needs.............

Very nice!
Have you looked into a retrofit HID? I'm going to be going HID in a week or so here, so keep an eye out for my build Mine will be in the stock pop-ups, but it should easily transfer over to what you're doing.

Headlight buckets
Yes i did consider the HID option as TPC provides the buckets set up for either type.
I decided to go to rectangular and see how it works out. Maybe later when I have finished the swap/suspension/brake upgrade etc. I will look at the HID option.

Re: Headlight Buckets
Correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the kit offers an option for projector headlights, not necessarily HID. I'm going with a real OEM type HID high/low beam projector setup (not the ebay crap). It's surprisingly affordable, i spent about $200 total.
At any rate, it's definitely something you can do at a later date.

No, have not installed them yet. I plan to start my engine swap and other upgrades in the New Year.
