HOW TO DO AN ADVANCED SEARCH.

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.
When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).
After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

sending my ECU out, mod list....
So, I am sending my ecu out to get a mail order tune. (for now since im well over budget and tight on cash)
here is my mod list. am I missing anything? or is this all the information he would need...?
2000 Camaro LS1 engine 853 heads
LS6 intake manifold
Cold air Intake
Shorty headers
No catalytic
dual exhaust
30lb injectors
Texas Speed Majic Stick 4 cam 111LSA
V.4 239/242, .649"/.609"
VSS-leave stock
1st Gear 3.500 : 1
2nd Gear 2.059 : 1
3rd Gear 1.400 : 1
4th Gear 1.034 : 1
5th Gear 0.829 : 1
Reverse Gear 3.500 : 1
Axle ratio 3.375 : 1
Tire diameter is 24.9"
The security feature has already been turned off. Please keep it off.

I had them turn my CEL (check engine light) on. Then installed a CEL in the dash. You can just leave it off too or dont bother with it, but it is cool.

Who are you going to send it to? I was planning to send it to Frost on LS1tech.com he seems to have a good reputation.

Im sending it to SSP, the same place I got my harness done at. Then gave me a pretty decent deal for a mail order tune. i figure it would get me by until I can get a dyno tune.
