Mon Jul 08, 2013 3:56 pm by Admin

For the benefit of 944Hybrids users there are two search functions available for you to use.
The purpose of this sticky is to explain the "Advanced Search" function because it is much more powerful and is the best choice when researching information.

When you log on to the site a list of options is shown in a line at the top of the page. One option is labelled "Search", use this option (NOT the search box lower down on the right).

After you click on the upper search option, a drop down box appears. At the bottom of this box is a radio button marked "Advanced …

why are some flywheels 300$ and others 100$

You are paying for material - the lighter the flywheel, the more you pay. You are then paying for the brandname. Then it's the old supply and demand thing

i correct myself that flywheel only has bolt holes for 11 inch pressure plate and clutch. the only other one listed at that price is 153 tooth for 10.5 inch clutch and pressure plate which would require aftermarket starter i appoligize i did find a mini starter from jegs that is on sale for 129.95 part 555-10001 and will work with either153 or 168 tooth fly wheel and you would be able to use the 153 tooth flywheel jegs lists for 75.00 part num555-601250

I just ordered the 153 tooth flywheel from jegs and the 10.5in pressure plate anda 10.5in clutch. Wheres a good place to send the ecu to get reprogrammed. i was looking into lt1swap.com and the guy will do the reprogram for 75$. What did you guys do for the pcm and do i have to remove all the wires in the harness even if he removes all emmisions and a/c etc.

Did you get this Flywheel? It says that it'll only take a 10.4" clutch. I've been looking and haven't found many 10.4" clutches. Is this a miss print or correct? Will the 10.5" clutch work on this flywheel?

Also, what starter/bellhousing will you be running?
