Ready to buy conversion parts - need vendor help

Post  Bluemach1 on Fri Oct 30, 2009 4:19 pm

Well, I finally got the 951 to pass california emissions and completed the registration into my name!

That means that I can begin phase two, the actual LS1 transplant!

So I am a bit confused about who has what for sell on this board.

1) 944hybrids has the uprights and bearings (are these xschops uprights?)
2) xschop has the bellhousing to TT adapter
3) has anyone prefab'ed wiring harness for the LS1 yet or is this a make your own still?
4) Who has the mounting block plates? Are those xschop? carshop?
5) motor mounts from ? not sure which ones I will need.
6) headers, headers, headers... I am in CA so need something I can pass off as EO CARB compliant or stock.
7) modified oil pan. xschop?

What else am I missing?????

So, please PM me with your stuff or lets make a list here and we can PM for pricing.

I think it would be great for everyone to get this all in one central location.

Thanks,
Ted

I placed my order for the manual the day Greg put them up for sale. I hope that I will see mine in the next few days.

I think that it is still a good idea to compile the vendors (actually, craftsmen and master fabricators) that have worked so hard and contributed so much to this forum and community so that they can receive the business that they deserve for thier products.

What say you all?

I make the motor mount up rights and the bearing adapters. They are not xschop's, they are mine. I do sell his bell housing adapter though. I can get the set back plates and the correct motor mounts for you if you would like. As far as the headers, right now your on your own. Harness can be moded by a few people on here, They will sound in if they're interested.

please let me know if I can help with any thing.

Thanks Eric. Good to know who is doing what. Thanks for hosting this forum, by the way. I know that it isnt free for you and the contributions arent that much. I think it is terrific that you can sell some wares and make a couple of sheckles. Sent you a PM. Capitalism is GOOD!

Thanks again to you and the awsome contributors!

I will continue making the C5 adapter plates and will be starting another batch soon. I will also be making a run of simple brake booster delete kits (In the conversion manual) soon and need a head count on those....
