I installed this setup on Kent's car for him. (with his help)

It uses a 2000 Ford Mustang hydro unit and master cylinder. We just had to make a plate to adapt it to the fire wall and move the coil packs to the strut tower.

First off, I don't own a patent and could care less if you made 100 sets. I'm not a big company that pretends I have a patent and kicks you off a public forum because I actually have no legal recourse.

I came up with the Lexus Caliper idea so I didn't have to spend 1200 hard earned dollars to line the Pockets of some snooty bastard behind a keyboeard.....I am designing more things for the 944 V8 swap and will only post details on this forum from now on.

That being said, anything I design ...

Did anyone manage to save the instructions for this? In particular, I'm looking for instructions on how to remove the pedal arm. I can see a pivot rod under there, with one of those sheetmetal clips on one end. How much of the pedal cluster do I need to remove to just take out the brake pedal arm?

I've finished mounting a Wilwood MC on a custom plate, and am having my machine shop shorten the rod. I'd like to drill a new hole higher than the original, but I've searched through this site ...

This may have been beaten to death but I don't seem to get the right parts.

I think I have the 86 turbo brake setup (spindles, rotors, calipers). I have tried to order replacement front rotors from paragon and automation and never seem to get matching parts!

Here is the porsche part number on the original rotor

SHW LU 2157 951.351.041.01

Here is the zimmerman part number of the supposed 86 front rotor

1566 11108

I attached 2 pictures.

So based on seeing the huge ...

Variable ratio brake pedal

I have had an idea for a couple years now about our brake dilemma. I have sketched out a design for a variable ratio brake pedal which would help decrease the stroke during low braking application but would increase the mechanical advantage as the required brake force increases. Due to the design the system would be a little less linear than a straight non-power assist.

I've been reading about the master cyl / heat / clearance issue and starting wondering if a bellcrank of some kind could be used to just move it. Turns out somebody has thought of this before and actually built it (not for the 944, but the concept is interesting).

Figured Id share it here (although power steering is included as well)

I was reviewing the bmw setup and all the stuff that had to go into it to get it running, and It seemed like I was introducing a lot of things to fail miserably as soon as the motor started (I was imagining a power steering fountain the first time I fired her up )

So after some research I found a good alternative for the power steering pump. The toyota MR2 uses an electric PS system with a pump, At first I was ...
