Anyway you have a picture of a F body pump in your gallery that shows the third nipple hooking to the accumulator tank hose. Is that the current / latest thinking when using ...

hey all, it's nice to see some familiar faces!

i found this out the other day when i started the car and heard a horrendous tapping from the top end...i pulled the valve covers off and found all of the nuts loose, and two almost backed off of the rockers on the left side. I found out that there are several ways to set valve lash, one way is to set tdc and adjust 8 of the valves, and then rotate the engine 180 and set the other 8. HOWEVER, i learned that with an aftermarket cam, or even ...

So I saw the thread regarding a early 944 with the Callaway turbo conversion and was intrigued by how compact the turbo setup was on the car. They utilized a log manifold directed towards the back of the engine and mounted the turbo and wastegate near the rear of the motor. This got me to thinking...

What if I create a log manifold which hugs the head and travels to the front of the engine where it would terminate into the turbo and wastegate. There would be logs and turbos on each bank ...

Now it could have been my custom stailess exhaust pulling on the header that made it crack but I kind of doubt it since I used flex pipes on both sides. Could be that RH ground off the Sanderson plate but that may be unfounded.

Either way, I am pulling out the passenger side Sanderson header to re-weld the collector area. I tried to weld ...

Long time lurker, recent member and since I'm starting to actually work on getting the parts I need for the swap, I thought I'd throw this out there since I haven't found a lot of information regarding ym specific question. I want to use an LT1 because they seem to be significantly more plentiful and less expensive than any of the LS blocks. That said, is there a specific version of the LS1 that lends itself to the conversion. Should I go w/ an earlier block and pcm that uses OD1 or ...

I plan to put a hood scoop on the car when I find one I like, But my question is has anyone run the lt1 setup without shims and just modding the hood rib. After the rib is removed I believe I will have about a 1/4 inch of clearance for motor movement. And comments?

“The oddball, the anachronism, the redheaded stepchild”-the Gen II small-block can be considered all these things. Conversely, it can also be regarded as the ultimate production version of the original small-block Chevy and ...

I was reading about intelectual property (by extension copywritten products) and only artistic creations (music, art, movies etc) are protected by copyright, but businesses that created a design for something (aka bellhousing adapters, engine mount uprights) are not protected unless they ...
