			<description>After trying to pick up with Gripforce where Robstah left off, I was getting nowhere fast.  I was cruising the net looking for options when I came across Spec Clutch.  On thier website they note a bunch of conversion clutch options.  Unfortunitly none of the options were populated with data.  I contacted them directly to find out what they could do for the 944 conversion.  It turns out that one of the guys there is doing a 1987 951 conversion of his own!

			<description>ok, we have the engine in and took a test run yesterday, sweet, howevfer we have PS issues



Car 87 Turbo

LS1 2001 Corvette with 28k miles

PS pump is original Corvette with remote reservoir and PS cooler



We fired up the engine and the PS is making a moaning sound

We turned the wheels and the moaning got louder (if this was only so easy with women) 

When we went to stops we blew the PS seals on the power side. 



We checked and we believer we have fluid flow through the reservoir

I call them covers because they are not sturdy enough to be considered bumpers, to be bumpers you will need to reinforce them with some steel backing. 			<description>Seperated trans from engine today to find that the rear seal is leaking.  Actually I think it might be the plug behind the pilot bearing. If you need to hook up an aftermarket temp gauge to your LS motor you will soon find that there is not many choices out there. Unless you want to special order a sending unit that will thread into the LS head(12mmx1.5)
