Boxster motor

Post  Admin on Sat Oct 31, 2009 3:25 pm

Does anyone have a Boxster S that they can take some measurement from for me. I'm in the process of getting the LS1 swap ready to happen! Smile

You want 986 or 987 not that it matters much, I should be able to get you specs fairly easy, I see them everyday.

There are pics on ebay, I don't think a LS will fit (or any V8 for that matter) it barely fits the flat 6 in there now. Best bet WRX STI turbo flat 4........

Nothing useful to add but Man...I had one (my brother had one)! Got totalled by a drunk dude = T-BONE!

Would be thee most awesome car for a V8. But ive read alot that the LS wont fit on other boards. ...BUT then again, you never know if you have a handful of spacers and a welder!! Laughing

I would imagine it being very similar to the 914. WRX fo sho tho!

As far as Brad goes I'm unsure at this moment. I can't seem to find anything that is just a shell or a good wreck around here. I have been on the look out for a nice Boxster S that I can afford.

That is the inside of the car, just behind the seats.
